Murfreesboro is Tennessee’s fastest growing city as well as being its geographical center. Located in a building that is over a century old, the Center For the Arts is also a great destination for architecture lovers as well.
  2. Stones River National Battlefield: Learn about the history that unfolded in your backyard at this 570-acre park.  Apart from being informative, there are also beautiful green trails to walk, jog, or bike around.
  3. The Miracle Field: This is a rubberized and custom-made baseball field designed specifically for children and adults with special needs. Apart from the addition of rubber, surfaces have also been padded to cushion player falls. This park is truly unique in its architecture and design.
  4. Discovery Center: The Discovery Center is a children’s museum and nature preserve that aims to teach youths in our community about science, life, and nature. Filled with interactive learning opportunities, the Discovery Center is a great way to enjoy a day and learn a little while you’re at it.
  5. Foster Falls: Located just over 70 miles away from Murfreesboro, these beautiful falls are worth the visit if you are in Tennessee. There is a steep trek to the base of the falls, but once you get to the bottom after crossing the swinging bridge, you will not be disappointed by the view.
  6. Lookout Mountain: As the name would suggest, the selling point here is the unrivaled scenic views from atop this mountain. Trails have been well maintained over the years. Even the highway up and down this mountain is full of beautiful scenery. As an added bonus, there is also tasty BBQ and pizza being served at the top of the mountain.
  7. Demos’ Restaurant: Authentic and affordable, Demo’s Restaurant is a go-to spot for many locals. While the portion sizes are generous, they are certainly not overwhelming, and the food is delicious. Even if there seems to be a lot of people in the waiting area, seating is typically relatively quick.
  8. Go USA Fun Park: This place has entertainment for the entire family, including a variety of outdoor activities as well. The go kart track provides an excellent opportunity for visitors to have a full day of fun.
  9. Nissan North America, Inc Tours: The Smyrna manufacturing plant offers a lovely tour of the entire assembly where visitors  can see six different car models being assembled in one plant, right here in our state.
  10. Opah Greek Grill: If you’re in the market for Greek food in the Murfreesboro area, this is the place to go.
